PGS. Responsibility, actions and evolution.

In 2010, we began a five year journey in transparency with Norwegian-based global survey company, PGS. They had never communicated publicly about business responsibilities before but, like many Scandinavian organisations, had a strong ethos behind how they went about business. It was time to start talking about it.

And so began the journey from sharing simple stories about taking responsibility for their work environments (onshore and offshore), to surfacing powerful accounts of investment and activity beyond compliance – all of which were having positive impact in different ways across the world. All of which seemed to come quite naturally, based on strong organisational values.

The timing was perfect. By the time Norwegian law changed and a full reporting process became obligatory, this aspiring corporate citizen had found its voice in navigating complex global responsibilities.

The best bit for us? With clarity and confidence came pride. Not only proud to publish alongside the annual report, but proud to hand over these documents and say, “This is who we work for.”.
