Roffey Park is an internationally renowned leadership institute that develops the people who develop some of the world’s best-known companies.
We worked with the CEO and his team to create an experience that would bring people together to explore Roffey Park’s future and the responsibility they would take in a rapidly changing world.
We facilitated conversations at three key levels:
Global – creating a shared understanding of the changing world they operate in.
Local – identifying what this means for Roffey Park and its clients, employees and stakeholders.
Us – collectively defining the positive changes people wanted to see and how Roffey Park would be part of that future.
Over 6 months, we designed and facilitated conversations with everyone from Board members and consultants to support staff and associates.
We captured the outcomes and co-created a narrative which is now providing a compass for the organisation, its strategic planning and communications into the future.
Thought-provoking communication tools got people engaged and talking.
In the words of CEO Michael Jenkins and his team:
“We are now much clearer about what Roffey Park is (and isn’t). We’ve really taken responsibility by looking at our future through the lense of what really matters to our people, and to society as a whole.
“It’s already guiding our business planning and sparking new conversations about future focus areas. The 2020 projects has given us the space and clarity we needed to do that.”
And the added value we brought to the project?
“We wouldn’t have painted such a clear external picture without your help.”
“People genuinely feel they have been part of shaping the future. The whole experience has created buy-in as we have come up with our vision together.”
“Relationships have changed – we’ve seen a new level of collaboration between Board members, our employees and our associates. It has genuinely brought people into the community, and this is something we’ll be keeping hold of in the future.”
If you are looking ahead, and are interested in involving your people in this kind of conversation, we’d be happy to have a chat.
